Will there be steam trading cards?
Will there be MWO backgrounds and emotes?
Will there be steam achievements?
What is the steam store going to sell for MWO? What kind of packages?


As someone who uses steam for a lot of my games I have found that having trading cards and achievements will draw a lot of people to earn those cards and get those achievements.

Anyone else have steam questions outside of when it'll happen?

Nobody knows.

PGI does look on the forums, but i guess you have better luck pushing this through a cap of 140 characters through Twitter, wait for the next Townhall or a Devlog.

If they release any iteration of what's on the PTS, won't be much of a Steam release at all...

Just new players going "wtf is this...?" while trying to understand info warfare and all the weird negative quirks.

Steam release will be DOA if the PTS server makes it live. Unless you want to play all Twolves all the time, you are going to be doing it wrong.

Smite just released on steam and it has the trading cards and steam achievements.

I am sure they will add that stuff 90 days after the Steam release.

I wish people wouldn't hate on steam. They do fairly well and have quite nice sales. The only thing I can rag on is their non existent customer service, and money grubbing anti return policy.

I like and use Steam, but I really don't get what is so cool about the trading cards and achievements. Maybe because I have no Steam friends added?

Trading cards are pretty huge and people will play this game just for them, like the surge of 98% of 5 cent games with cards that sell for .04 cents and the game drops 4 of them.

Not releasing with cards would be disappointing.

One of the Steam people was playing on the test server for the rebalance. Steam release has been cancelled!Actually I am looking foerward to the Steam launch since the flood gates of content will open.

Actually I'm wondering if it would be the opposite, if its all new people know the game is like...

Trading card and MWO background would be great.

Steam is gonna last a lot longer than MWO, I'd love to have something on my profile page as a souvenir.
